On May 29, 2009, my kids were taken from me, effectively kidnapped by the system. This sounds harsh but it's true. Leading up to this, my daughters had been removed from their mother's home for being "uninhabitable":

After this, we had a "professional" on the case. This person refused to even look at these videos, though at one point she claimed to have viewed them. I don't believe her, since so far nobody has been able to view the videos without a visceral reaction.

On April 27, 2009, I met with this woman. She told me that there was no way the girls would be going back to live with their mother, that it just wasn't safe. However, at the end of the meeting, she found out that I would be representing myself in the divorce case, since I didn't have money for another lawyer.

I didn't know what she was doing until the day the kids were taken, but about a week later she told another professional that she was going to have the kids removed, and had decided that there would be "emotional abuse" as the reason for the removal. She directed this other person to not tell me about this, and denied his request to help avert the "problem" via family therapy.

Over the next three weeks she concocted a scenario where excessive punishments were occurring at my house, at the hands of my current wife (or girlfriend, as it's unclear if I am yet divorced). Even though DHS had investigated these claims and found no problems, she issued a report alleging emotional abuse. She did not accuse anyone of abuse, she just mentioned "alleged abuse". She did not claim that the kids were endangered.

Since then, I have put in several motions to the court to get this cleared up. So far I have been ruled against every time. The problems with this case include:

Luckily, I have a recording of the meeting with the "arbiter" on April 27th, and a recording of the other professional stating that the arbiter had told him her plan for removal three weeks before it happened.

Effectively, my kids were removed from me for no other reason than someone said to do so. There was no due process involved. And now they are back living with their neglectful mother.
